Free show: Kurtis Starkie, Red Light Effect, and Sonic Bliss Machine – Manchester 27th May 2016

There’s a great line-up at Dulcimer Bar in Manchester this Friday. It’s a free show, so if you’re in the area you should try to catch it!

Kurtis Starkie is the talented guitarist from The Slow Readers Club, who recently supported James on their UK tour. I’ve featured the band on the blog before. They have two awesome albums that you should listen to.

On Friday, Kurtis be playing a solo acoustic show. You can check out some of his songs on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/kurtis-starkie

Also playing at this Chorlton Arts Festival event on Friday, will be Red Light Effect. We featured the band on our sister-site Real Rock and Roll, last month: https://realrockandroll.wordpress.com/2016/04/14/red-light-effect-a-band-you-need-to-hear/

Red Light Effect have an addictive sound and I’ve been hooked on their music recently.

I hadn’t heard of Sonic Bliss Machine, but have just listened to some of their songs on Youtube and they sound good.
